Out of Town
Multi- talented and versatile Taryn Nelson, grew up in Perth and now lives abroad in Europe. Taryn graduated with a diploma from the renowned John Cranko Ballet School in Stuttgart- Germany and made her debut as a performer in The Lion King musical, understudying the lead female role, Nala.
She followed this by engagements including Jesus Christ Superstar as a soul girl, Tarzan, Cats as Victoria, Hairspray as a Dynamite and Evita in the role of the Mistress to name a few. All the while continuing to also build and develop her career as an actor by taking courses including the A.I.S triple Threat Audition workshop, where she studied under the likes of Richard Lissemore, Thommie Walsh and Steve Markusfeld and joining a Meisner actors class. She also played a role in Gedeon Burkhard and Claudius Rauch's movie, The Key.
She was invited to perform at the finals of Dancing Stars in Vienna- Austria with one of the contestants and her latest project was as the choreographer of Jesus Christ Superstar in Hamburg- Germany. Always professional and willing to take her performance to the next level, Taryn is a true master of her craft.
