A talented and versatile stage performer. Taylah (17) began her journey
in the arts at an early age, performing at Koorliny Arts Centre and attending drama school. She is Western Australian raised, down to earth actor who has made the most of every role with a focused and committed presence. She has recently began to further her experience in performing arts at the Australian Performing Arts Network by studying an Advanced Diploma, majoring in Musical Theatre. Her introduction performance to community theatre (2017), received an honourable mention from theatre critic Kimberley Shaw (Stage Whispers) for her role in Stirling Theatre’s ‘What belongs to you’. Last year, Taylah starred as a lead in the hit show ‘Legally Blonde’ that exploded onto the Regal Theatre stage. She also appeared in the Perth run of the touring show ‘Jersey To Motown’ as a “Diva” quartet member. Recently, Taylah was cast as the charasmatic ‘Scarecrow’ in HAMA’s Production of The Wizard of Oz that will be performed on the Regal Theatre stage in August.
Taylah has had many years in film training as well as appearing behind the camera for the short film ‘Doris’. She has been cast as leading lady ‘Mandy’ in short film ‘DOG-EAT-DOG’ that is set to be released in December 2019. In 2016, Taylah narrated the Perth Royal Show advertisement that appeared on TV and Radio.
This year, Taylah received 1st place in the Open age Monologue category in the competition Enter the Stage. She was also the recipient of the Hugh Jackman award for acting excellence. She was also the winner of the 16/U Musical Theatre solo in 2018.
Taylah has also danced for many years, specialising in Commercial Dance. Last year, Taylah and some fellow students of the Australian Performing Arts Network partnered with Fox Studios to perform a dance number from The Greatest Showman. When Taylah isn’t performing, she is a hard working team member of the McDonalds franchise and is constantly receiving positive remarks regarding her work ethics.
